Brand

The brand every forecast, promotion, creative and compliance verdict in this application refers to.

fictionalSIDRAسدرة

SIDRA is a fictional Dubai speciality coffee and bakery chain, invented for the AI 208 coursework demonstration. It is not a real company. Footfall and point-of-sale figures shown against it are simulated, and are labelled as such wherever they appear.

Four sites, deliberately unalike

Al Barsha is fully enclosed and Marina Walk is more than half outdoors, so the same weather moves them in opposite directions. That is why demand is forecast per site rather than per brand — and the simulator derives each site’s weather elasticity from these seat counts rather than hardcoding it.

DXB-DTN07:00 – 23:30
Downtown
وسط المدينة

Tourist-heavy, event-elastic, flat across the week

outdoor seating0%
0 outdoor · 54 indoor

Responds to events at Burj Park and the Dubai Opera district within 2 km. Least weekly seasonality of the four because its customers are not on a local working week.

DXB-MOE08:00 – 23:00
Al Barsha
البرشاء

Resident family, indoor, weather-inelastic

outdoor seating0%
0 outdoor · 68 indoor

Fully enclosed and air-conditioned, so temperature moves it least of the four. This is the control site against which the others' weather elasticity is measured.

DXB-MAR07:30 – 01:00
Marina Walk
مرسى دبي

Expat evening, outdoor seating, strongly weather-elastic

outdoor seating54%
46 outdoor · 40 indoor

More than half its covers are outdoors, so its demand tracks apparent temperature after 17:00 more tightly than any other site. The steepest temperature coefficient in the estate, and the reason the forecast is built per zone rather than per brand.

DXB-DEI06:00 – 22:00
Deira
ديرة

Value segment, early peak, Ramadan-heavy

outdoor seating27%
12 outdoor · 32 indoor

The original site and the earliest opening. Peaks before 09:00 on the market trade, and reshapes hardest through Ramadan — daytime trade collapses and the hours after iftar carry the day.

The guidelines

The brand-guideline PDF is generated from data/brand/sidra.yaml, the same file the Compliance agent enforces its rules from, so the document a reviewer reads and the rules the system applies cannot drift apart. Where a rule cites a clause that has not yet been read verbatim from its source, the PDF prints “clause unverified” rather than implying otherwise.

The eleven rules, their sources and their verification state are rendered on the Compliance tab once Phase C lands.
